i know what he meant and i thoroughly understand his perspective. i know where he's coming from and his intentions. but just because i dont agree does NOT, in any way, mean that i do not understand or that i am naive and immature.
why do people link innocence with naivity? innocence is a choice and not a lack of experience or a shortage of knowledge. if you think innocence is synonymous with youth and naivity, then YOU are the ignorant one. just because you have been through more experiences does not, in any way, mean that your mindset is right even if it seems completely justifiable to you. if that is the case, then all the old people in the world are mature and wise people.
there should not exist any negative connotations with innocence because innocence, is simple a choice. noone can corrupt your innocence and noone can take it away, only you yourself have that ability. its about what you choose to do and what you choose to think and what you choose to say and what you choose to be important to you.
of course, no one is completely innocent because everyone has done smth wrong befroe. big thoughts or small actions, a wrong thing is still a wrong thing.
the definition of wrong is something that i do not intend to discuss as of now. everything is technically subjective and it depends on you t find what the defining standard of things should be. well yeah, im not going t go into that discussion.
im not pissed because you dont share the same view as me(regarding a certain topic), but im extremely indignant because you wrote me off as incapable of mature thought and mock me that i am living in some fairytale world and waiting for my prince charming!!!
my main point for all this is, DONT WRITE SOMEONE OFF AS IGNORANT just because they disagree with you, or they may be kiddy in their antics or whatever. still waters dont always run deep, and sometimes the seemingly simplest and most "idealistic" beliefs are the most mature ones of all. vous comprenez?

Babe, pick a night to come out and play
skool has started! eek.
initially i was quite.. fearful about it cause.. haha i also dont really know why! myriad reasons i suppose. fear of bad grades, no friends, being alone etc etc.
haha so far, skipped a few lessons HAHA. okay cause really, it was all kinda a waste of time! all the intros, and useless information. i guess its useless cause its interesting, but because singapore is so paper-driven, it doesnt help us in getting an A, so its useless.
practical has been such a headache but since i cannot be loose with my words online, i shall restrain from saying anything!
anyway my dota skills have been improving. DAVIDDECEMBER IS DOMINATING HAHAHAHA i seriously will never get tired repeating that! but yeah, my friends' ears are arld hurting hearing it only twice >: ( nice encouragement from them?! HAHA.
i have a free day tml! cause french lectures have not started. so im gonna go stationary shopping and print notes and organise more of my stuff. and try to finish reading eragon! haha. by they way, im so proud about having packed my table and all ^^
on a sad ending note, merly is disfigured :( while painting nails at hannah's house, i accidentally flicked the brush and now there is a trail of lilac nail polish across the keyboard :( sob sob.
